My Formerly Empty Uterus promises to be both an educational and entertaining experience. For the past 4 months, 15 teens have been actively exploring the issues, stereotypes, stories, emotions, history and facts on teen pregnancy. They’ve delved into the personal stories of teen mothers and fathers of Strathcona County while tackling the mathematics of budgeting as a single teen parent. They’ve been amazed at the capability of the human body. They’ve questioned their peers and those around them on their sentiments, stereotypes and ideas concerning teen pregnancy. They’ve struggled with their ideas and emotions on the options facing teen parents. Collaboratively, they have taken these experiences and mixed them into a colourful mosaic of the truth.
